The former owner of this land met me to show me around the property on Garns Rd and Hoosier Valley Rd last week. He recently
donated it to the GTCD.

Now, it can never be developed into subdivisions nor major roads. It is a very large parcel of land, some 300+ acres.

Today, a group of dedicated volunteers met at 9am on a cold morning to clean this beautiful piece of land so that it will be as it should.

David Sheaffer and Lydia Gulow from GT County brought a nice truck to pull our trailer up that steep hill.

Bill Northway brought his smaller trailer and that allowed us to go to two different locations and do two cleanups at once. That worked great!

Some of us had a BK lunch after dropping off the trash at the DNR Field Office on Mill Rd.
