Boardman River Clean Sweep
North Branch AuSable River Cleanup Report
Tuesday, June 6, 2023

Five of us were looing forward to a small and pleasant group of friends paddling the NBR on Tuesday and that is exactly
what we got to experience. We all wore bandanas as sign of loyalty to this river.

I got lost looking for Jackson Hole Landing and that put us 30 minutes behind but it turned out ok. We had a cool north
wind all day and only had a few places where the wind was even the slightest problem to us.

The river was running lower than normal and we had to do some walking over gravel bars but it was not a problem.

Lunch was at Dam 4 Road as usual and I can report that the toilet has NOT been placed there this year.

We did find quite a bit of trash compared to earlier years and it was newer trash that had been intentionally placed
there for some reason. Irresponcible paddlers and fishermen is our guess.

We even managed to have some fun with some of it.
