Last Tuesday, Ann Reichert and her husband took a recreational paddle from the Foks to Schecks.

Near the end of their trip, they found these rubber ducks with a message written thereon.

Here is Ann's report:

On Tuesday July 12, 2022 my husband and I were having a leisurely paddle from the Forks to Shecks
on the Boardman River and came across a rubber duckie. Being a BRCS river clean up junkie I couldn't
help but pick it up.

This was the first piece of litter that we had seen after paddling for an hour. In the final 15 minutes of our
trip we collected 4 more, 5 total. It's sad that people think it's okay to release them in a river and not follow
up with picking them all up.

I find it sad that people would do this for poitical reasons but even worse litter the river in the process.
