Boardman River Clean Sweep
Recon Trip - Shumsky to Beitner
August 29, 2013

Getting Started - We found a new friend - Missy C. - She was a great river cleaner.
The river was a little high and fast from the recent rains and the water was not clear
but we were able to see pretty well. Taking pictures was difficult because of the faster current.
I took three or six pictures of each piece so I would get at least one good one.
I am posting all of them for completeness. Even the bad ones might be useful later.

End of trip - We did pick up some trash, too. Missy left her trash under my car.
It all went into the trash can at the landing.

Thanks to John M. for coming along to be my secretary and for lending a hand on this fun little project.
And thanks to Missy C. for helping out, too.

We have our work cut out for us in the future with three or four of these pieces of wreckage because
some are very large and heavy and in really difficult locations with deep water and fast current.
There may be more of them that show up later when the water levels drop and the river clears.
